Booking Terms & Conditions

This document outlines the Booking Terms & Conditions for Bali Luxury Resort, applicable to all reservations made for stays in 2026 and beyond. Understanding these terms ensures clarity regarding your stay at a premier bali luxury resort. A 30% non-refundable deposit is typically required to secure a reservation, with final balances due 60 days prior to arrival. These policies are designed to maintain operational standards for all guests, including those seeking a high luxury experience averaging USD 800-2,500+ per night for pool villas. For insights into national tourism policies, guests may consult the official Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (kemenparekraf.go.id).

Reservation and Confirmation

The process of securing a reservation at Bali Luxury Resort involves an initial inquiry, followed by a detailed offer and a confirmation deposit. All bookings for 2026 are subject to availability and our standard terms. To confirm a reservation, guests must submit a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total booking value within seven (7) calendar days of receiving their booking confirmation. This deposit secures the chosen accommodation type, whether it is a suite for couples or a multi-bedroom villa for families. Failure to remit the deposit within this timeframe may result in the automatic release of the provisional booking without further notice. Upon successful receipt of the deposit, Bali Luxury Resort issues a formal booking confirmation, detailing the dates, room type, and remaining balance due. For stays valued between USD 3,000 and USD 15,000, this initial deposit forms a crucial part of the agreement. This process applies equally to bookings made directly or through approved travel agents for any luxury resort package.

Payment Schedule and Currency

The payment schedule for all reservations at Bali Luxury Resort mandates the full settlement of outstanding balances by specific deadlines. The remaining 70% of the total booking value is due no later than sixty (60) calendar days prior to the scheduled arrival date. For bookings made within sixty (60) days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of confirmation. All transactions are processed in United States Dollars (USD), reflecting the international nature of our clientele, which includes visitors from Australia, the United States, and Western Europe. Any bank charges or currency conversion fees incurred during payment processing are the sole responsibility of the guest. Guests are advised that rates for 2026 include an 11% government tax and a 10% service charge, which are applied to all accommodation and incidental charges. Bali Luxury Resort reserves the right to cancel any reservation where full payment has not been received by the stipulated deadline, with deposit forfeiture.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation of a confirmed reservation at Bali Luxury Resort is subject to a structured policy designed to mitigate losses and manage availability for other guests. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to the resort’s reservations department. The effective date of cancellation is the date the written notification is received by Bali Luxury Resort. Guests cancelling 90 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund, less a USD 100 administrative fee. For cancellations received between 60 and 89 days prior to arrival, 50% of the total booking value will be refunded. Cancellations made between 30 and 59 days before arrival will incur a 75% forfeiture of the total booking value. No refunds are issued for cancellations received less than 30 days prior to arrival, or for no-shows. This policy applies to all bookings, including those for special occasions like honeymoons or multi-family groups, which often represent significant financial commitments of USD 6,000 to USD 60,000+ per trip. Guests are strongly advised to consider travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.

Amendments and No-Shows

Amendments to existing bookings, such as changes in dates or guest numbers, are subject to availability and may incur additional charges at Bali Luxury Resort. All amendment requests must be submitted in writing and are not guaranteed. Date changes requested 60 days or more prior to arrival may be accommodated without an amendment fee, though any difference in room rates for the new dates will apply. Changes requested less than 60 days prior to arrival are treated as cancellations and re-bookings, subject to the cancellation policy outlined above. Reducing the number of nights or guests within 30 days of arrival may also be subject to partial or full forfeiture of the original booking value, as per the cancellation terms. A ‘no-show’ occurs when a guest fails to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notification. In such cases, the entire booking value is forfeited, and the reservation is automatically cancelled without refund. This policy is critical for managing occupancy, especially during peak seasons like Christmas and New Year 2026, where demand often exceeds supply.

Force Majeure and Travel Insurance

Bali Luxury Resort maintains a clear policy regarding circumstances beyond its reasonable control, known as Force Majeure events. These include, but are not limited to, natural disasters (e.g., volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis), acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, epidemics, pandemics, government travel restrictions, and severe weather conditions impacting travel to Bali. In such events, Bali Luxury Resort is not liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under the booking agreement, nor for any loss, damage, or additional expense incurred by the guest. The resort will endeavor to offer alternative dates or credit notes where feasible, but refunds are not guaranteed under Force Majeure. Guests are explicitly and strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. This insurance should cover potential losses due to cancellation, medical emergencies, travel delays, and other unforeseen events, particularly given international travel complexities. For current travel advisories concerning Indonesia, guests may consult official sources like indonesia.travel or their national government’s travel guidance. Understanding the potential impact of such events is crucial for any international visitor, including those from the United Kingdom or Germany, planning a luxury stay.
